The Canon PowerShot SX40 HS offers a superb 35x optical zoom lens, a back-illuminated 12.1-megapixel CMOS sensor, and the company’s latest DIGIC 5 image processor, allowing the camera to produce more natural and blur-free results.
This super-zoom camera also offers a full manual control and a full 1080p HD movie capture. Other features include a 2.7-inch vari-angle PureColor II VA LCD screen, an HDMI port, Zoom Framing Assist, and a high-speed Burst HQ. The Canon PowerShot SX40 HS will be released in October 2011 for $429.99 a pop.
